Pilot Training Program

The 115th Airlift Squadron will be conducting a panel interview in April 2019 for the Undergraduate Pilot Training Program. The 115th is accepting applications for individuals with the desire to serve as an officer flying the C-130J Hercules.

Applicants will be selected to receive a commission in the Air National Guard and will attend Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training. Upon completion of training, new pilots will serve part-time at Channel Islands ANG, Port Hueneme, Calif.

Enlistment Requirements

Non-prior service - The Air National Guard is looking for high quality individuals to take us into the 21st century. If you have never served in the military, and you meet the following qualifications, you may be just the person we're looking for:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. 17-34 years old.
3. Be a United States citizen or a permanent legal resident.
4. No personal history of major law violations or illegal drug use.
5. Be in good health.
6. Meet Air Force height and weight standards
7. Pass a written test.

Prior service - The following qualifications apply if you have prior military service:
1. Honorable discharge from last period of service.
2. Reentry code from last period of service that is not a bar to reenlistment.
3. Be able to complete 20 years of total combined service by age 60.
4. High school graduate or equivalent.
5. Be a United States citizen.
6. No personal history of major law violations or illegal drug use.
7. Be in good health.
8. Meet Air Force height and weight standards
9. Pass the ASVAB test.
