146th Airlift Wing groundbreaking construction ceremony event cancelled due to inclement weather Published Jan. 5, 2023 146th Airlift Wing CHANNEL ISLANDS AIR NATIONAL GUARD STATION, Calif. -- After careful consideration for the safety of our guests, members of the media and Ventura County elected officials, we regrettably announce the groundbreaking construction ceremony for the Weapons Systems Trainer Reconfigurable C-130J (WST 12R) flight simulator scheduled for Thursday, January 5 at 1030 a.m. has been cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions. This event will not be rescheduled; however, the 146th Airlift Wing will announce a ribbon cutting ceremony for a date to be determined upon the completion of the simulator. We look forward to seeing our guest attend our future ribbon cutting ceremony and we apologize for the late notice announcement and any for any scheduling inconveniences this may have caused.
