146th joins firefighting efforts in Kern County

Scorched landscape in Kern County leads to the bright orange stripe of fire retardant left by a 146th Airlift Wing C130-J on Septermber 12, 2011. The 146th AW's C130-J equipped with MAFFS units were mobilized September 11, 2011 to assist in firefighting efforts in Kern County, California.
